Glenfarclas, from the Gaelic ‘Valley of the Green Grassland’, nestles at the foot of Ben Rinnes. Far up on its heather covered slopes, fed by the melting snows of winter, crystal clear spring water bubbles up from the granite below.

A rival distiller wrote to the Grant family in May, 1912: “of all the whiskies, malt is king, of all the kings, Glenfarclas reigns supreme”, a compliment the family still hold dear and close to their hearts.
