Visit Our Distillery
Glenfarclas was one of the first distilleries in Scotland to open a dedicated visitor centre in 1973. We still pride ourselves on the warmth of our welcome. We have a range of tours to appeal to everyone from those new to whisky, to the dedicated enthusiast.
“We invite you to visit our truly independent distillery and discover our renowned Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky” John L. S. Grant.
Please be aware there will be restricted access to parts of the distillery while we carry out essential maintenance. For more information, please do not hesitate to give us a call!
Places on the Five Decades Tour and Connoisseurs Tour are strictly limited, so advance booking is essential. Please note we can only offer these tours on weekdays.
We strongly recommend that those participating in the Connoisseurs Tour or Five Decades Tour make transport arrangements to avoid the need to drive after the tour.
Tours en français (Tours in French)
Selon la disponibilité de notre guide francophone, nous pouvons vous proposer des visites en français. Cela doit être réservé à l’avance
Unfortunately, the distillery is in an old building that is laid-out in such a way that is not accommodating to disabled visitors. Tours involve climbing and descending two flights of stairs, so we would have to omit this part. However, we would still show guests into a warehouse and offer whisky to taste in our tasting room.
Our Visitor Centre and tasting room has flat access and a disabled toilet.
