The distinctive, some say unforgettable, taste of our Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the result of the family’s experience over 150 years. Our insistence on using traditional distillation methods gives our spirit that time-honoured quality.

Glenfarclas, from the Gaelic ‘Valley of the Green Grassland’, nestles at the foot of Ben Rinnes. Far up on its heather covered slopes, fed by the melting snows of winter, crystal clear spring water bubbles up from the granite below.

John Grant personally travels to one particular family run Bodega in Spain to select only the finest European oak casks, previously used for the maturation of fine Oloroso sherry.

A rival distiller wrote to the Grant family in May, 1912: “of all the whiskies, malt is king, of all the kings, Glenfarclas reigns supreme”, a compliment the family still hold dear and close to their hearts.
